ABOUT US
-
The company CAMPANINI was founded by Franco Campanini on the
01.01.1973.
- 1973: Production of the first flexible ball-winding machine called
type 74 with 10 and 16 winding positions.
It was able to produce balls in wool, acrylic, cotton, fancy yarns
and similar fibres with one single machine.
Over 100 type 74 ball-winding machines were constructed.
- 1979: The type 74 was automatized with automatic cutting
and automatic opening of the mandrels:
the new model, called type 80, was manufactured in over 250
pieces.
- 1986: The type 80 ball-winding machine was substituted by
the new model SCT.240 with timing belt drive.
- 1989: At the age of 23, Ivano Campanini, Franco Campanini’s son,
entered the company as a partner at 50%, and started developing both the foreign markets as well as new ideas
and projects in ball-winding.
- 1991: A programmable numeric axis control was mounted on the base
of the SCT.240 ball-winding machine.
The result was a high technology semiautomatic ball-winding machine
suitable to produce any kind of balls, just by inserting the
program.
The machine was also able to change the pattern automatically during
the winding cycle in order to produce do-nut balls more voluminous
and softer.
With this innovation all do-nut balls producing textile companies
optimized their production by using this device and by removing all
the sponge inner cores: they saved a lot of money.
- 1993: Franco Campanini retired from the business and left 100% of
the company CAMPANINI to his son Ivano.
- 2002: The first prototype of high speed yarn bulking machine,
called Vaporada, was studied and manufactured by Ivano
Campanini, in cooperation with Doriano Milani and Armando Benzio.
The Vaporada was able to process any kind of yarn, especially
fancy yarns and similar yarns, with unmatchable bulking quality.
- September 2003: The very successful launch of the Vaporada
machine after one year of tests.
- December 2003: A new project of high speed cake winder began in
cooperation with Renzo Piantino and Doriano Milani.
- June 2004: After 6 months of tests the production of the high
speed cake winder started.
The machine called FKT4/E was developed to be connected to
the Vaporada high speed bulking machine.
Its peculiarities are: winding speed up to 550 mt/min, very precise
electronic yarn feeder and yarn sensors to control the yarn.
- September 2004: After 15 years and over 100 SCT.240 ball-winding
machines sold, the production of a new line of ball-winding machines
began.
They are called NEXUS (fully electronic with numeric axis
control) and ECO (Economic ball-winding machine).
- July 2005: Begin of the cooperation with Huseyin Sen, Sertel Sen
and Zeynep Sen Gieringer of LAMIRA (Istanbul-Turkey) in order to
produce high quality ball-winding machines at competitive prices.
- September 2005: Start of the LAMIRA production of two types of
ball-winding machines: ECO and VEGA.
The new born model VEGA, designed by CAMPANINI, turned out to
be an absolutely fast, beautiful and productive ball-winding machine,
manufactured by LAMIRA with European standards of quality,
sturdiness, flexibility, safety and production.
